Personal Statement

As an athlete, I hope to achieve playing either basketball or football at a Division 1 college in the United States, or play professionally either in Australia or around the world. In the next 12 months, I wish to achieve playing at the highest level I possibly can as a bottom age player in under 18s VJBL and I would like to qualify for the under 19s Victorian State team for football.

Personal qualities that can help me reach my ultimate potential include hard work, dedication, being coachable, ability to handle pressured situations, enthusiastic and wanting to get better and encouraging of my teammates if they do something well/team player. To me, my family means everything as I wouldn't be up to the point I am now and have opportunities like this without them which can overall help me achieve the dream I've had ever since I was a young boy.

I will make a difference to the college team by proving that it doesn't matter where you come from or who you are, but rather how you persevere and get to the place that you've always wanted to be at.
